Inflammations Solutions, Inc. was founded by Dr. Joseph Maroon and Jeffrey Bost PAC, to provide nutritional supplementations that have been thoroughly researched and tested to be of the highest quality available. Dr. Maroon firmly believes that one of the greatest scientific discoveries in the last 5 years is that excessive or chronic inflammation in our bodies is responsible for many of the chronic illnesses and diseases we face in our modern environment.

Dr. Maroon has done extensive research on essential fatty acids (EFA’s) and other products used to help reduce inflammation and promote good health.  These products must be shown to be of the highest quality.  This includes strict testing to ensure that potential heavy metals (lead, mercury, etc.), PCB, and dioxins have been removed.  Dr. Maroon had chosen Nordic Naturals, Inc., which manufactures all products in Norway , for these reasons.  They adhere to the highest manufacturing standards guaranteeing exceptional product Purity and Freshness levels. Their quality level exceeds both the Norwegian Medicinal and European Pharmacopoeia Standards. They also adhere to the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility standard, and utilize a proprietary nitrogen environment to achieve industry leading freshness levels.

Nordic Naturals, Inc. products are molecularly distilled utilizing the latest distillation technology and yielding positively zero trans fats. This process guarantees the removal of potential heavy metals (lead, mercury, etc.), PCB, and dioxins. As an example, Nordic Naturals' dioxin level is documented to be 0.4 particles per trillion which is estimated to be the lowest in the world. Low heat and ultra short residence time is used during the distillation process to ensure positively no damage to the oil. A final enzyme process is applied to ensure a completely repeat free (burp free) product.

Raw Material
Nordic Naturals, Inc. uses only wild fish (arctic cod, mackerel, sardines, and anchovies), that are low on the food chain (to minimize potential impurities) and are naturally high in Omega 3 EFAs. This is in marked contrast to farm raised salmon which are fed fish meal, often contaminated with antibiotics and other impurities and sold as “Fresh Atlantic Salmon” in our best restaurants and stores.
